It's 6th October over here in Australia so you are the first thing on my mind. Wishing I could be there on the day of your memorial and replaying the last 12 years of knowing you.
I'd already met your force of a sister but then you arrived. 19 years old, full of life at oasis. You would always want the late shift because you had been out the night before, you'd rush on shift throw your bag out the back with your 10 inch heels in lol and tell me all about your nights with friends. I'd find you the rest of your shift fixing your fringe or hiding behind fixtures from people.... but you were a worker. Then our paths divided and you went one way I went another but we always came back.
What a privilege it's been to call you a friend Charlotte Guise, someone so kind, always putting others first, always showing up, driven by normal and the desire to live life to the fullest beyond the limitations that could of been put in place. The definition of grace. A person who you grew admiration, love and affection for in probably a second of just being in your presence. You were just one of life's gifts and will be so dearly missed by so many people. Sending love to all of those who love you today, you are loved beyond measure in every space and time xo
